By Fabienne Breton
August 21st, 2012 – Crossing into New Brunswick.
Michel on his way to Shediac along with his brother-in-law Luc Goulet.
Michel and Jean-Christophe Goulet, 10, who is very proud of being able to realize one of his dreams…to ride side-by-side with his uncle, who is a great inspiration to him.
With Annie’s help, Michel stops at a Shédiac beach.
But Michel also needed the help of two strong men (Luc and Jean-Léon) to bring him and his bike to the beach.
And the reward…a dip in the water! Something very much appreciated by Michel, who has always been an avid swimmer.
August 22nd – life goes on, Michel has to return to work!
Meeting with Mr. Gerry Galant, the Mayor of the Town of Miramichi.
Long-time New Brunswick friends, Diane and Rémi Lozier, came to see Michel in Miramichi.
Meeting with Mr. André Doucet, General Manager of the City of Bathurst.
Interview with Jean-Marc Doiron, a reporter from the newspaper Acadie Nouvelle. Note that the .pdf document should read Michel Garant, not Michel Breton.

Michel meets his friend Clément Pigeon in Campbellton and they rode together for several kilometres.
Michel wants to use this extraordinary journey to promote the fact that Mira has provided a total of 46 dogs to Canadians living outside of Quebec and the Maritimes. In order to meet the ever-increasing demand for Mira’s free Service Dogs, he is rolling out the first cross-Canada campaign to call upon the generosity of Canadians across the country. Michel will reach out to millions of Canadians and hopes to see them cheering him on and donating to Mira’s Foundation as he passes through their communities.
